I am so excited to be featured on Authentique's blog today. You can look at Traci's tips at http://blog.authentiquepaper.com/. They are featuring my fall "Thankful" mini book. I shared some tips with them that I use whenever I am creating. Since they are featuring me I wanted to feature something new From them. So here is my new Christmas count down using the Aunthentique "Festive" stickers. This Christmas count down was so fun to put together because I was using products from three of my most favorite companies Authentique, Jenni Bowlin, and Tim Holtz. Just saying those names together makes me want to shout "Fabulous"!!! I cannot get over how much I love the sticker sheets from Authentique. I like all the different sizes of stickers they give you on a sheet. There are little mini ones, medium sized stickers, and then the large ones you can use as focal points. All the different shapes also allows me to be able to layer them so nicely. It was a perfect match up to go along with the New Jenni Bowlin "Hotel Key Holder". This antique reproduction is so cute. It measures 11"wx14"hx1/2"d and comes with attached double hangers. You could actually use it for each season and just change out the stickers and embellishments you hang. You all know I can't make anything with out using something of Tim's. This was such a fun project because I got to use so many little trinkets from Tim Holtz. Should I name them all...Words Keys, Hanger clips, Adage tickets, charm clips, Hanger clips, Journaling tickets, Jump rings, Long fasteners, Christmas Muse tokens, Locket keys, Trinket pins, Hinge clips and mini paper clips. All of the Tim Holtz embellishments really add to the charm of it. I added a little texture in there too (one of my tips) a canvas and burlap tag for Christmas day. I found this great burlap fabric with evergreen branches printed on it and just had to incorporate it in. I also created a tissue paper flower to give the project just a little more dimension. I was looking for music note tissue paper and came across this printed tissue paper with Christmas words all over it. I love making tissue paper flowers because no two ever come out looking the same which gives your project such unique character. Of course I had to throw a little greenery and glitter in there. I love the final result. I did get the key holders on special and I am passing that savings onto you. If you bought all the supplies for this kit on your own you would spend over $70.00 and be stuck with a lot of leftovers. I am selling this kit for $35.00. You can pre-order now and it will ship Nov. 27th. I hope you are all getting inspired for some Christmas creating. Today my neighbor is coming over and we are making Christmas ornaments. I can't wait to show you all of them.
